4th day - Indian Arm cruise
For an unforgettable sight-seeing jaunt I don't think you could do better than the luncheon cruise up into Indian Arm. It starts out of Coal Harbour and runs up close along the northern shore of Burrard Inlet, with its facinating close-up tour of one of western North America's major shipping ports. Then it turns the corner into Indian Arm and the scenery suddenly changes to a fjord with virgin forest tumbling down mountainsides to the water's edge. Other than the occaisional summer "cabins" (mostly reachable only by float plane or by boat), most of the inlet is undisturbed native scenery. In addition to the scenery, the price of the cruise includes a lunch buffet, and they have a full onboard bar. It takes a big part of a day, (more than just" a three-hour tour") and it's not cheap, but it's a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
